What is available from the Home page?

The Home page contains useful ways of accessing the information contained in C19 Index:

The Search Indexes link takes you to the search page so you can begin using C19 Index to find what you are interested in.

You can also start using C19 Index straight away by using the Quick Search box on the home page:

  • Type what you want to look for in the search box.
  • Click the Search button. A Search Results page will appear listing the records that match your search terms.

The Browse area gives you access to the specialized browse screens for Poole’s Index to Periodical Literature, comprising of an alphabetical list of subjects, and for contributors to the Wellesley Index to Victorian Periodicals down to individual contributor records. You can also browse the complete Curran Index of corrections and additions to Wellesley, or the Dictionary of Nineteenth-Century Journalism.

The Information Resources area includes news on recent and forthcoming additions to C19 Index, resources for users, content and editorial policy, and contact details.

The My Archive link gives you password-controlled access to items you have stored from previous sessions.
